Following Hyundai rested its seven-seat Santa Fe for the 2017 model year, Korean brand is now functioning on the fourth-generation version of this vehicle. The redesigned Santa Fe will come as the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe and the heavily camouflaged model had been discovered while screening in Germany. Based on which we are able to see from the spy photos, the next technology of the Santa Fe will get new style elements which follow brand’s design language seen on the teaser pictures of the upcoming Kona SUV. The new version must also shift upmarket and we assume more advanced interior. The new style and interior will come with the improved and more efficient engine options.
2019 HYUNDAI SANTA FE: NEW STYLING
Evaluating by the spy photos, the new 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe will display some notable styling changes when it arrives. Hyundai wrapped the prototype model in the thick camo but despite it can not cover that new model will sport a new experience and altered body lines.
It is obvious from the spy pictures, that impending Santa Fe will adopt a new grille and lighting design which follow the same path as the new Kona SUV. The teaser photographs Hyundai introduced of the Kona SUV can provide people an idea about the new illumination arrangement the new Santa Fe will get. The new split design includes the upper strip of LED running lights which sit above the main projector headlights which may have their place on the either side of the grille. The grille of the model also features a new design and it ditches the horizontal bars in prefer of the honeycomb mesh. The new grille version called Cascading grille design will introduction on the Elantra GT.
The model also appears to have more evident fender lines while appears less edgy than the current version. The rear side, on the other give, appears to have sharper LED accentuated taillights and that model has twin exhaust setup.
As for the interior of the new Santa Fe, photographers haven’t been able to get some pictures. But, we should assume to get better cuts and new infotainment system. The new Santa Fe must also drive on the longer wheelbase which might improve the comfort of passengers and freight capacity.
On the other give, Hyundai included an array of advanced safety functions for the 2017 model year but will keep on to enhance model’s safety rankings with the new autonomous tech.
2019 HYUNDAI SANTA FE: POWERTRAINS
Unfortunately, there is no any indicator about what engine options the new 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe might offer. The current version comes with the V-6 engine only in the US. The new generation Santa Fe must again get the power from some version of the V-6 engine. But, the turbocharged four-cylinder unit like the one in the Sonata is also the candidate. Hyundai will even offer the diesel engine in Europe, probably the upgraded version of the current 2.2-liter turbo diesel. The diesel might also travel over the Atlantic.
On the other give, we also assume Hyundai to replace the current six-speed automatic transmission with the more efficient 8-gear automatic. The base front- and elective all-wheel drive will again be available.
2019 HYUNDAI SANTA FE: ARRIVAL, PRICE
The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe must land in showrooms late next year. The price shouldn’t begin greater from the current $30, 800.
